Ladies British Isles Championships
This year the second Ladies British Isles Championships involving all 4 home Nations will be taking place on Saturday 12/10/2024 and Sunday 13/10/2024 at Bro Myrddin Indoor Bowls Centre, Carmarthen, SA31 3BT.

Teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and of course Wales were competing for the honours over two days in both a team and individual format.
Nations compete in Singles, Pairs, Triples and Rinks Indiviual Championships, and contest the 'International' Team Championship made up of four rinks competing as a team.​

Carmarthenshire, as a tourist destination, offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Much of the coast is fairly flat; it includes the Millennium Coastal Park, which extends for 10 miles (16 km) to the west of Llanelli; the National Wetlands Centre; a championship golf course; and the harbours of Burry Port and Pembrey. The sandy beaches at Llansteffan and Pendine are further west. Carmarthenshire has a number of medieval castles, hillforts and standing stones. The Dylan Thomas Boathouse is at Laugharne.
